Marineris- Prick
No stranger to predicting urban aggro, get to grips with this Ukrainian Alternative Pop star, Alex aka Marineris who is here ready to paint the town with 'Prick', his new track!
Now, It feels like we've all attended a funeral this Monday, as England lost the Euro 2020 Championship, but with this song we can start dreaming of us winning the World Cup 2022... Only 428 days to go (something like that lol).
England played a great game and got us to the finals. It's taken 55 years but 'Prick' has siphoned the roar energy from the crowds at home, abroad and who were at Wembley Stadium, with this uptempo pop beats and grungy electric guitar strumming rhythms and melodies on top, to give off that vibe and bring dimension to this Ukraine Alt-Pop singer's song.
As you read this, don't think the song is about football lol. It's about a reaction to an idea that material objects are capable of making you truly happy; these can bring you moments of joy and comfort, but how long does that realistically last?

As Marineris says "In the music video, I wanted to act as a rebellious cleaner who is “cleaning up” all of the popular culture images we are fed and brought up to believe we need. You may notice the reference from a video from one of my favourite bands!”
Behind the name 'Marineris' is young chap Alex, so why not follow him on YouTube, Instagram and Spotify His music is upbeat and don't forget to follow me on Twitter. There's Instagram,Pinterest and Facebook too.
