Lewis Daniels- States of Being

This young composer and saxophonist, Lewis Daniels, brings us 'States of Being'. A Neo-Soul, Funk and instrumental collection of songs, that will grab your heart strings. He gives himself ample space to showcase his best work in every song and this compilation flows into many directions like classic 90's album blended with 00s jazz elements, as back then it was a revolution compared to Jazz, Funk and instrumental decades before.

As Jess Iszatt, from BBC Music Introducing London, said "I love the edge of that. Absolutely wicked."

As a whole collection, It's pieces of music that blurs the boundaries of those genres and as a result finds a diverse audience base from Instrumental, Jazz, Funk, Neo-Soul, HipHop, Garage, Gospel and Grime. Blended together, it can be brilliant.

Lewis is a confident guy and has a unique presence, with a strong command of style and genres as a composer and saxaphonist from London. This talented musician and singer has had some successful singles 'Why Me' and 'Endurance', which featured on Jazz FM, BBC Introducing, BBC London and Soho Radio to name some.

Also, as session musician and arranger, he is a member of group MOBO award winner Rachel Kerr and The Last Dinosaurs to name some. Performed at The Royal Albert Hall, Ibiza Rocks and Koko, which is from a long list of events and venues.

This is powerful art, not only for people of colour, but for everyone who exists and loves creative and diverse music, as now every musician has to stand out.

'States of Being' is a sincere, soulful project, brimming with honesty and humble perseverance and brings his diversity and swagger within his music.
