Kyle Trippy- No Attachment

Updated: Oct 22, 2021

Naming 6LACK, PARTYNEXTDOOR and The Weeknd as his inspiration, Kyle Trippy finally delivers on his vision of the new single 'No Attachment'. He's a HipHop and R&B singer and producer, born and raised in Detroit.

This guy wrote, recorded, mixed and mastered this track independently. As Kyle said "I pictured a chase of some sort, so I wanted it to sound like that. Like you're running from something. In terms of the production, I do it all myself; none of it is outsourced. From the music to the visuals and cover art, I do it all myself and I try to put a good little spin on it for anyone who listens and watches. No other hands or eyes touch it."

A young guy at the time with an ambitious mindset, he built his own music studio. He worked and created beats for other artists, at the age of 17. Wow!

Intentionally or not, as an artist grows their careers can be divided into chapters, usually defined by their songs or albums, which bring distinctive sounds. But now emerging more with a constructed sound and aesthetic that has moulded him into the singer he is today, Kyle blends HipHop and R&B together too gives us his unique take on these genres.

'No Attachment' is about a woman, who only likes to be chased rather than tied to an attachment, that comes with feelings and love.
