K.ZIA- Sanctuary

Are you playing SZA a lot? Then K.ZIA could be the one to blame for your car stereo about to explode or your speakers getting used a lot, as her new song 'Sanctuary' could become the true culprit. It's a very peaceful R&B Soul and hints of Afrobeat track, with her sultry vocals on top.

'Sanctuary' starts off with the most beautiful, angelic melody as it brings you into a world of imagination.

Within one minute the slow tempo R&B beats hit hard and some seconds later, the beats quieten down, as we hear her voice elevated.

This Berlin based singer, songwriter and director K.ZIA, makes her return with the track and adds an angelic video along side it.

With her being raised amongst many cultures and has travelled a world of Music and Circus, this gives her a unique view on art and life itself.

As she says "A Sanctuary where together we rise around authenticity, depth and love. This song is about a special place where we can disconnect, connect, and reconnect with a special person, a spirit, a community, a divinity and re center around the essentials of Love.”

Quite honestly, I have never paid much attention to this very slow kind of music much. This is the first time I've heard of her name. However, I could not thank K.ZIA enough for blessing my ears with this song, as sometimes you just want healing meditation kind of music playing in the background. Agreed?
