Chicago HipHop duo, ATR, bring their own style to year 2021 and are here to give us some summer vibes to our lives, with their hit 'BTC' by JTG (Jordan Watkins) from the group.
Looking to make a big splash this summer with GChild & JTG solo and joint projects, this catchy song will inspire lots of people in many ways.
JTG, a member of ATR, rides the beat immaculately without us losing him in our memory, during 'BTC' track.
This modern HipHop and hints of Drill makes this track memorable. In the beggining it starts of with piano chords in a static and cheery way, whilst teasers of rap enter the scene. Within 30 seconds the full rap comes in and you're
more hooked to the song throughout.
Muting the beat and/ or bass line to emphasis certain lyrics is one favourite HipHop production trick producers do. This happens here and there throughout the song, which is a great thing to hear, as it brings dimension to the track.
The duo don't stick to one lane and pride themselves on working within a wide range of genres. 'BTC' is their first release and will they be as big as some of the major HipHop artists out there? You'll just have to wait and see. Big things are happening!
