Alicia Kruger-Crush

Remember Brandy? Mix her with Mariah Carey and a little bit of Anita Baker and you get Alicia Kruger, with her soulful track 'Crush'. An artist to keep your eye out for!

Young singer-songwriter from London, brings her suave soulful harmonies and sweet voice to the music world. All about a 'Crush' on a young handsome man.

Imagine yourself at a bar. You're the lady. Sitting with your friends, drinks all sorted and you are all chatting away, whilst listening to H.E.R perform. You, the guy, on the other hand, are leaning back to the bar with your few mates grooving a little to the beat. She slowly checks you out and blushes. Quite nervous, she looks away.

Whilst all that happens, she is dreaming of what it would be like spending time with you and having you as her boyfriend. As the guy, are you doing the same? A few minutes later (which can feel like seconds), you give her a little wink. Do you walk over and say 'hi'? Do you two swap numbers? That's up to you to decide, as that is the vibe I get when I listen to Alicia Kruger's song.

With slow R&B beats, piano chords and soft drums playing. acoustic electric guitar and minimal trumpet notes in the background, with her Retro Soul vocals and emotion heard throughout each word sung, this is one tune to play during your 'working from home' days or to relax.

If you're into your Jill Scotts, Chaka Khan, Jessie J, Mariah Carey, Jorja Smith and Celeste, then Alicia Kruger is one to listen too.
