Gambo- Drip

Ghana is the country to be at. Cool, hip and happening place, there's a lot going on. Afronation Ghana, more events and small businesses winning awards. But here is Bashir Annan aka Gambo, bringing his new track 'Drip' ft Edem to the scene.

They both blend well together but Edem sets the tone with the chorus, which will probably go viral on TikTok. Don't you think?

Gambo gives off his edge in the song and means business, as he shows that he's "the man" in the video.

As Gambo says "'Drip' is an anthem for Ghana's youth, that celebrates looking good no matter where you come from. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Wizkid, Sarkodie and Yaw Tog, the track is Hip-Hop party vibe anthem with a hint of Drill and swag."

Also "I wanted to show another perspective on Ghana. I feel most of the time Africa is portrayed only in connection with sadness and poverty, which is true in some cases, but not always. I hope my music will let the world know that we are a modern destination with a great lifestyle, showcasing both sides of Ghana.”

Both artists offer an edgier versions of themselves, as Gambo, in his last song was quite relaxed and more chilled.

Gambo's rap becomes more familiar every time you here is songs, and especially on 'Drip', where he is doing his thing. Soon he'll have an impressive streak of 3 album releases soon? Let's wait and see.
