20 Songs That Bring Joy To Working From Home

Most of the UK is learning how to "work from home". It's a totally different ball game and If you're wondering what tracks too listen to that make your days seem productive, that give you a purpose and bring joy to your lives, then come on and check out my selection of the best 20 songs. This may persuade you to always have your earphones at the ready when you're "working from home" or have your speakers on from your laptop or maybe don't do any of this and just listen to this playlist and groove. Up to you. Enjoy!

The last few weeks I have been more focused in Dats Muzik than before. Because of COVID19 and how it's effected people in all walks of life, knowing what happened to Breonna Taylor and George Floyd plus all the demonstrations we've been having this year, music has helped me more throughout these last 6 months than ever. Also, I realised how sad I was during summer, with no festivals and no concerts and gigs during this year, I saw that I created a variety of playlists to uplift my mood and feel like I had the festival vibe in the palm of my hands lol.

So what songs do you really need to listen to whilst "working from home"? One big change is the buzz of an open office and meeting new people most days and it can seem quite lonely when you're home all day. So these hits will break the silence, help with concentration or bring joy to your days.

Festival Songs

  • Close by Sub Focus ft MNEK (Eton Messy remix)

  • My Forbidden Lover by Nile Rodgers and Chic

  • Douha (Mali Mali) by Disclosure ft Fatoumata Diawara

  • Cash Out by Calvin Harris ft SchoolBoy Q, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Shelley FKA DRAM & Funk WAV

  • Only You by Shift K3Y

  • Alarm Clock by Burna Boy

  • Hallucinate by Dua Lip

With no festivals, concerts or gigs, I've been trying my best to have the live performance feel, in the palm of my hands, via music. I've been watching more live performance and festival videos to uplift my spirits throughout 2020. If you're seeking this feeling, then I suggest these songs listed above but they're great to listen too when you want to break the silence or during your break times at home.

If you're going to listen to these songs below, you're taking the tempo all the way down and helping your concentration, with steady rhythms and smooth jazzy vocals. Some have harmonious beats, some have peaceful beats. Whatever you feel, these will soothe your mind.
