Engaging more twitter followers... What to write about. I WRITE ABOUT SOCIAL MEDIA... GET SOME TWITTER ADVICE
More people are on Twitter than Facebook? We all know that but how can you get more followers, have more people be engaged with you? Are you sometimes stuck on what to write about or wonder where to start?
What to talk and write about?
1. Always involve the industry or field of work your in with what is trending on Twitter.
Are you a musician or work within the music industry in the UK? Then talk & write about The Voice UK on Saturdays during the show and 1 hour after it. Then during the week find information or updated news about The Voice Uk, The Voice Ireland and The Voice Australia, for example. Write about the judges... Their music. Are they planning for a big national or international tour? Is one of their concerts happening soon, in a city near you? Do they have a new E.P./ single out now? They're all related with each other but with differences. It's what is big news at the moment, in the UK.
Are you into fashion or a fashion designer? Then you talk & write about The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in London, UK.
Write about the outfits the celebrities wore at Golden Globe Awards 2015.
Do you watch The Graham Norton Show? Talk about the celebrities outfit... Some sit there, makes us laugh and wear amazing & outstanding clothes.
Talk about coats. Your thinking... Well duh lol. It's winter season.
Are you into fashion and music? Are you wanting to spice things up? Then talk about The X Factor, which is still relevant news. Write about Cheryl's fashion, as she always updates the public about her outfits. Write about Fleur East outfits and performances as she just got signed to Simon Cowell's record label... She is hot news right now.
Write about Taylor Swift's video- Blank Space. She wears nearly 18 dresses and 2 outfits. Talk about her music in general but more about her album, 1989, which is still having international press & news.
Talk about Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga... Both singing Jazz, working with each other and collaborating with H&M worldwide.
All that is written are examples of what you should be talking about, which will engage people into conversation with you and they're more likely to follow your Twitter page. Social Media is not just about promoting yourself, your music or your fashion label. It's also about connecting with your community (followers etc)
One more thing... Shazam is a good thing to talk about, I believe.
