The Sovietones consist of Mr Andrew Smith with his whiskery guitar also providing the vocals, Alex the mastermind of the tunes on Guitar.
Steff “cat” – the tall bassist who keeps the low notes rumbling and is most likely to digress to a bit of jazz, and last but not least Rosie who goes crazy thumping the tubs to her hearts delight.
All together we make a hell of a noise. We are from the Bromley/ Crystal Palace area and play indie rock music of a unique kind, our main influences include Muse, the Editors, Elbow, the Clash etc and some less likely ones such as Tom Waits.
We have only played a couple of gigs and so are still honing our technique but so far we seem to have had a good response from the crowd.
